McAllister Park -- 2012 Little League World Series

The 2012 Little League Baseball World Series is here again from Williamsport PA with games being played 16-26 Aug. San Antonio is being represented by McAllister Park and they are the Southwest entry. They played their first game today and beat the Mid-Atlantic representative from Parsippany NJ. McAllister Park won 5-2 and is moving on. I've included a number of web links below, including the Little League World Series homepage; the McAllister Park team photo and another link showing their personal stats; and the bracket of scheduled games. McAllister Park played in Game 6 (3:10pm) and is scheduled to play again Sunday, 19Aug/5PM and will play the winner of Game 8 (not yet played as of this writing). Enjoy.

Welcome to the 2012 Little League Baseball World Series!

The McAllister Park team beat the New Castle Indiana team on Sunday, 13-3 to advance on to the winners bracket. Just got done watching a thrilling extra inning game between Japan and Taiwan with Japan winning with a homer in the bottom of the 9th. Some of these kids, I'm speaking of all teams included, are very skilled at ages 11-13. And the best thing about it is these games move right along.
