Does anyone understand why LSU is ranked so highly? Aren't they basically without a good QB?

The rest of their team is supposed to be awesome. I don't pay enough attention to know anymore than that.

Great point.
Truthfully, they would have been a top 4 team if Perrilloux was still there.
Brutal Schedule + New QB.

9 Win season might be a stretch.

Don't count the Tigers out --they have two good wides Brandon LaFell and Demetrius Byrd and running back Keiland Williams. Kirston Pittman and Tyson Jackson are back on defense.
They will start slow the come on hard.

Why Georgia at #1? Isn't their schedule brutal....And I love how a 3-9 Notre Dame from last year still can get votes for the top 25....

I think the feeling is that they are the best team, so they are #1. I don't think they make it through undefeated.

Your right they are probably the best team right now along with USC and i agree
they won't make it undefeated. at LSU, vs Florida at the cocktail party, and at Auburn
all in the last few weeks of the season will be really though. Road games at South carolina and at Arizona St. early in the season will also be a challenge.

I'm predicting Georgia will lose 2 games on the season. that SEC is a beast.
