Two workers fall from roof area at Cowboys Stadium

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Arlington police say two workers have been hurt in a roof-related fall inside Cowboys Stadium.

Police spokeswoman Tiara Ellis Richard says the two workers fell Thursday morning from an upper roof to a lower section of the stadium roof. Richard says the pair did not fall to the ground.

Richard says the two workers do not have apparent life-threatening injuries. Further details on their conditions or how far they fell were not immediately released.

Ambulances and fire trucks were seen in the parking lot of the nearly $1.2 billion retractable-roof stadium, where the NFL's Dallas Cowboys began playing this season.

Several people were seen walking on top of the stadium as emergency personnel responded.

A message left with the Cowboys was not immediately returned to The Associated Press.
