Cowboys aide paralyzed by canopy collapse hopes to walk again Posted: Wednesday July 22, 2009 3:08PM; Updated: Wednesday July 22, 2009 3:08PM Cowboys aide paralyzed by canopy collapse hopes to walk again DALLAS (AP) -- Paralyzed Dallas Cowboys scouting assistant Rich Behm (BEAM) is determined to walk again. In his first public comments since the May collapse of the team's indoor practice facility, Behm says he is still learning to deal with life in a wheelchair. He lost the use of his legs in the accident that injured two other Cowboys staff members. Behm spoke Sunday at a charity fundraiser for him, his wife and their three young children. The 33-year-old says he is considering a lawsuit against the manufacturer of the facility. Behm returned to work weeks after the accident and said his focus is on getting back up to speed in his job. Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said Behm's determination inspires the Dallas players. Copyright 2009 Associated Press. All rights reserved.
