San Antonio is not a sports talk radio town
 

Latest ratings are out and KTKR is dead last in the market, well maybe not dead last after all KZDC (the espn station) doesn't even register...KTKR has dropped like a rock since whoever is programming it decided that the best way to get listeners was to have your hosts put on shows that sound like a high school boys locker room.....

not to mention their late shift host just reviews and plays clips of the shows allready heard thruout the day and then they play the same reruns on the weekends

where can we see these ratings?

I'm not surprised. Taylor is a douche and his show is only bearable if you worship the Cowboys.

I can't believe that Mike Taylor is still on the air. His show is just horrible.

Taylor is too metroplex for me. He thinks that's what we want to hear. he started off good, but he talks about the same thing everyday. He even called out Pop once! I listen to the zone only because Kim Fischer comes on at least once a week! :)

The only good local show is The Sports Grind, all the other shows suck. Especially the ones on ESPN Radio. Paul Alexander is atrocious, Chris Duel and his gang of retards might be the worst show of all time, and a one horse town should not have two stations. We should have one station, with zero local shows, honestly, I don't know who thought it was a good idea for two stations.

I think that this town has gone so long without a good sports radio show, you would not know a good one if it bit you on your presets...

The Morning Drive (760) A good show, just so darn early! Great guests...no energy. Andy needs to talk with some more huevos. Peter needs to SLOW DOWN.

Mike Taylor (760) Decent show, just needs some energy and Jim Bob has got to go. Wasn't he a fill in from the beginning. He sounds like he looks....chubby.

The ESPN afternoon show...(ESPN 1250) Chris Duel was better at pop culture and world events. His sidekick sounds like a guy they hired after auditioning at a drive thru window.

The Sports Grind...(760) Seriously? This show is on-air? No talent and they love to hear themselves talk. I think Salami..or Bologna...or whatever his name is carries the show.

Morning Drive and Mike Taylor are your best bets.
