SAN ANTONIO -- The medals of San Antonio Olympic champion Josh Davis have been located, according to The Salvation Army.
The four medals -- three gold and one silver -- were found by somebody cleaning outside The Salvation Army's Boys and Girls club on the 600 block of Peacock Avenue near Woodlawn Lake.
The medals were in a gray sock found outside the center by Edna Patino, an employee with The Salvation Army. Davis has previously said that's how he transports the medals.
The medals were reported missing by Davis on Monday after he believed they were either misplaced or stolen from his vehicle over the weekend.
Davis won three gold and two silver medals during his Olympic competition, including three gold medals at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. One of the silver medals was previously lost, Davis told KSAT 12 News.
A press conference is scheduled for 6 p.m.
