What does anyone think about the Scorpions and Talons? Any interest? Personlly I've never been a big fan of soccer or AFL but I guess I could give them a try. Still waiting on the NFL...

Seems to me that if you don't grow up playing soccer you won't be a fan. I've tried watching it, but since I never played it, it's kind of like watching a bunch of guys run up and down a big field, run to one end, turn around and run to the other and then kick the ball... I've never seen an AFL game other than brief glimpses on TV now and then, it seems like bumper pool with a football. Looks intriguing though.. Sadly I doubt SA will ever, ever get the NFL...

I did grow up playing soccer and while it was fun to play when I was 10-11 years old I have never been a fan of watching it at the Pro level. It is a San Antonio team so I might check it out just for the heck of it. AFL should be a bit more fun to attend.
