Arkansas knew when they hired Petrino that he was unaccustomed to telling the truth so they can't be too surprised that he lied about this incident.
If they don't fire him, but do fire the young lady, there's going to be one heck of a law suit against the school, and since her fiancee is also a coach at the school there's going to be a ton of tension there if nobody gets fired.
And if they don't fire him, I wonder how long before a recruiting scandal shows up or something else comes up that shows he's incapable of telling the truth.
If you were a parent, would you want your son going to Arkansas now? Especially if you try to have things done the right way? I wouldn't.
