I was most impressed by the play of Devin Green last night.
He looked like a taller version of Raja Bell. He's a 6'7 guard!
Very good at passing the ball and creating oportunities for other players and he seemed very calm and cool on the floor while some of the others looked rushed and nervous.
His D was good. He battled hard past screens and played physically WITH the ball.
couldn't watch the game, but if you think he really is good and can shoot(important) am all for it. No one knows the caliber of anyone at this point.
Their motivation and drive is key too.
I thought Vaughn played well last night, actually. Bonner.. (sigh).. What were they thinking? This guy is flat footed and slow. Trade him for a bag of peanuts and a pocket of fresh air. I'd take Hairston over Bonner at this point.
at most two slots
Green
Tolliver
Hairston
Watkins
Stoudamire
Gaines
Farmer
anybody wish too rank these guys after last nights play?
My overall impression comming into this game Tolliver and Stoudamire where front runners based on partialy garunteed contracts and other things.

i think they'd only give the Spurs those generic peanuts for Bonner, no big name brands
I'd like to see him clothesline Kobe once. If he can do that well, then yeah, let's keep him.

Tim Duncan is like democracy. He is the worst power forward in NBA history, except for all others who have played the game at any time.
From scouting report: "The former Hampton guard shows good rebounding ability and court vision in the open floor. His comfort level against D-League competition is very high, but he’s a borderline NBA guy. Defensively, Green does a good job making hustle plays."
For me he doesn't have NBA level. He can't guard a skilful player. But he's surely better than Hairstom and (goddamn, Tolliver). Tolliver is worse than me
I saw good game on Watkins. Going high for rebounds, a couple of blocks, and an athleticism show. I'm almost sure Pop will keep him. One spot remaining

I like this guy! Anyone with me?
based on 1 game I agree 100% - this guy showed the skills we desperately need that being someone who can create for others and is agressive getting to the FT line - defense good though he would struggle against smaller quicker guards - He shot 6 FTs (made 5) and dished 3 assist (if bigs held on to passes could of been 6). He has NBA body and brings more to the table than Hairston. You could compare him to a poor mans Lebron James (a very poor man)
On another note: Both Watkins and Hairston had throw downs over Yao - Hairston's came after a great pass from Green
I was able to watch the game late. and i have to agree with you based on 1 game. He has shown he could penetrate and showed a lot of impressive feedings to guys who were in a better position to score.
