NBA Offseason: The 20 Best Passers in the League

NBA Offseason: The 20 Best Passers in the League
By Bryan Toporek - (Featured Columnist) on July 21, 2010

The NBA has no dearth of score-first players, but someone has to set those players up to look good every once in a while, right?

That's where the guys on this list come in.

While you may think that the NBA is a league based on 1-on-1 play (in actuality, only if you're the Atlanta Hawks), the league also happens to be populated by players who thrive on making plays for other.

We've got former MVPs, NBA champions, and a whole slew of All-Stars to choose from. And ss you'll also see, we've got guys as young as 20 and as old as 37 populating this list. Needless to say, passing ability isn't hindered by the generation gap.

Take a look at the 20 best passers the NBA has to offer, in all shapes, sizes, and positions.

Honorable Mention (in no particular order): Eric Maynor, Goran Dragic, Jeff Teague, George Hill

Love George and all that, but passing's way down on his list of skills.

Has to be kidding, considering Jeff Teague was also "Honorable Mention" and he only averaged 10 min. a game in 09-10, and has never really been mentioned as a great passer.

i dont see how Tony doesnt at least get honorable mention. He is a better passer then hill. He does still do alot to set up some of his teammates.

John Wall who hasn't played a minute in the regular season is on the list, and Manu isn't...this is a joke....

Yeah, Manu not on this list was the biggest joke. He should be top 3 at least. The whole thing was just ridiculous.

That is not a list worth reading without Manu! Hell, it had Wall on it & he only seen summer league play! Come on!

If anyone watched John Wall in summer league you'd know he was a turnover machine right now. He'll get over that with mad skill and speed, but he's gonna take some time to figure that out.

i think what hurts the article more is that Manu is no where in it and Hill gets an Honorable Mention over him.
