i think tonight was a reflection of a bad decision on pop's part to not rotate some of the younger guys on the team last night when we had a 20-26 point lead through the 2nd and 3rd quarters! that would have been a good time to get cedric jackson some meaningful minutes to spell hill some time. also malik and ian could have saved some minutes on our main bigs and wing players. our starter all played over 30 minutes last night when we were way ahead in the game. sure miami came back some but they do it either way and the starter come in any way too. we all know what bogans, bonner, and mason are. lets see what we have in the young kids. on a back to back and we are blowing a team out. ian and malik could have gotten 12-17 minutes last night to help out with the legs. and jackson should have gotten 5-10 to get comfortable and going out there. tonight you saw tired legs from playing alot last night. the shots were flat and short. we missed alot of open looks. this game to me goes on pop. you have to handle to starters more effectively in this situation |

Yes and no. I get that it would have been good to rest players last night, but I think you have a short memory. The Heat cut the lead to about 6 or 7 points in the 4th quarter. If that lead gets trimmed down to 12 points in the 2nd quarter because we're playing scrubs, maybe the Heat get their momentum back early enough to come back and actually beat us. Not to mention IMO this game tonight wasn't winnable even if we had several days rest. The Magic are just far better than us right now. |

| It wasn't winnable because Hill and the Bonner didn't have it tonight. Those two guys still could have done more even if Duncan would have a tougher night. Chances of winning are good if the rest of the team comes to play, even if Duncan has an off night.

| Yes and no, yes wi can win without TD playing average bball when we face mid tier or good teams. Not when we are facing top contenders.

Faced with a Florida back-to-back, Spurs needed to win at least one. The die was cast when SA lost that big lead in Miami. The best case scenario would have seen the Spurs hold their huge lead, rest their main guys and go into Orlando strong. When the lead got whittled, Pop had to play for a Heat win, knowing that the team would take its lumps against the Magic. I'm afraid that most of us saw the Orlando whippin' coming... I know our team has the big three and we will or lose with Tim, Manu and Tony. One of the three is out injured, one didnīt play at all last night, and the other had a good game. Thatīs not enough. Especially since the rest of the guys didnīt show up. RMJ is what 3-20 in the last games? GH was way off too Bonner connected back to back treys but nothing else. Mahinmi was in double figures, yes, but in garbage time McDyess played bad the rest of the team also. Good game from RJ but we canīt win against Orlando like that. We need the role players to step up, and we need our stars to play well too.
