Tayshaun Prince on trade block?!

I heard on Espn something about him being on the Trade Block! I would love to have this guy with the Spurs! He's lanky, 6'9" frame that can guard a Carmelo, Paul Pierce, Josh Howard, Lebron or Odom! Prince can play some "D" and rebound! Trade Jefferson even trade or if not trade Parker!

Right now Jefferson can be gone for Oberto, Bowen and Kurt Thomas.

only way detriot will trade is for expiring.. we'd have to send like 10 players for one prince. haha.

RealGM: Trade Checker

Tony Parker
George Hill
Tayshaun Prince
Richie Jokerson
Tim Duncan

Manu Ginobili
Dejuan Blair
Antonio McDyess

kind of small ball starting lineup... BUT tayshaun is a taller guy and may make up for over size?

vs Lakers / Celtics ... Mcdyess will have to start over Jokerson

Sam Dalembert is overrated, and Philadephia is still looking to trade for him.

truth is, he's decent. if we'r gonna overpay Jokerson to do absolutely nothing, why not pay Dalembert to create a possibly awesome block party...

RealGM: Trade Checker

Sammy Dalembert
Tim Duncan
Richie Jokerson
George Hill
Tony Parker

Manu Ginobili
Dejuan Blair
Antonio McDyess

Camby is in trade talks... his contract expires... so theyr not lookin for expiring contracts, rather, they want to see if they can improve their team rather than just letting him go...
can we make their team better?

nope

This lineup would have 2 stoppers plus 2 shot blockers, it would be a great defensive team on paper. The only problem is that the new players would not have enough time to learn the system and we would see a lot of missed defensive rotations.

I really hate this mentality. New guys need to learn the system, you'll mess up our chemistry-- blah blah blah

We stay the same= we lose: it's that simple.

Our current roster doesnt get it done. We're a first round exit right now.

Sam wouldn't be a bad idea, No Amare. I doubt that deal will happen, unless we give up Manu or Parker with Bonner included! HAHA

Dont think Indy would do this trade but would be nice if they would i know they want to get rid of ford and i think they want to get rid of dunleavy. they may not want to get rid of hibbert but to get rid of ford they might. gives us a back up point guard a decent s/f and then a solid C to start next to Tim. Would also save some salary for us this year.

Would be ideal, but I bet he'll stay east when he is traded.

He'd be slightly more realistic. However, his contract expires so moving expiring contracts to his team wouldn't make a difference. They'd have to bring over a horrible contract or give them a nice piece to get Haywood.
