I did this thread this time last year. The "Rodeo Trip" started in the 2002-03 season and that was the best year the Spurs have had during the Rodeo Trip: 2002-2003: 8-1 2003-2004: 6-1 2004-2005: 5-2 2005-2006: 6-2 2006-2007: 4-4 2007-2008: 6-3 2008-2009: 5-3 Here is the lineup for this year’s rodeo trip: Wed 2/3@ Sacramento 10pm Thu 2/4 @ Portland 1030pm Sat 2/6 @ Clippers 1030pm Mon 2/8 @ LAKERS 1030pm Thu 2/11 @ Denver1030pm Wed 2/17 @ Indiana 7pm Fri 2/19 @ 76ers 7pm Sun 2/21 @ Detroit 6pm Then the rest of the month is: Wed 2/21 home against OKC Fri 2/26 @ Houston Sun 2/28 home against PHX I just wanted to show everyone the February schedule and what our competition for the 8 game rodeo trip looks like. I am curious to hear all my fellow Spurs fans predictions for the Rodeo Trip. I see the games at Portland (back-to-back), Lakers and Denver being the 3 hardest and best indications of where we stand. My prediction is that we win 6 of 8, coming up short of the best Rodeo Trip (2002-03:8-1) I see us winning all five of the games outside Portland, Lakers and Denver and winning one of those 3 games. Hopefully this will be the time that our spurs come together and show us really what they're made of. It would be nice to witness the spurs demolish the competition on this trip. I am wishing for the best and hope today's game against Denver gives us optimism as we embark on our annual test of fortitude.

6-2 is very respectable. I'd hate to see us beat Portland, Lakers and Denver only to lose to a lesser team. Cant say I'd be surprised, but then again, I'd be surprised to win all three of those game on the road (where up til now, we most certainly have struggled)

My "shootin' from the hip" prediction is also 6-2, with losses at Portland and Denver. Both will be close losses. No losses to weaker teams on this trip. If we can win 6, start building a stronger team chemistry, and learn how to play better D, we should be able to ramp up and make a strong run through march. |

Really it's not a bad schedule with only one back to back Sacto to Portland, a short flight...you gotta love the game against the Clips, then a day off, then the Lakers... It's probably the best long road trip situation a team could have..

Being out here in the Sacramento area, if the Spurs lose to the lowly Kings in their next game, I will flip out! They better win handily by 20-30 points and shove it down their throats that game coming out with passion, defensive, and prove a point!

| After the way we played today I agree with you entirely. Now if you had said this prior to playing today I most certainly would have disagreed. It seems that once we make some sort of run, we immediately make a run in the opposite direction. One thing to note, we have 3 separate 3 game losing streaks this season. I cannot recall the last, if ever, the spurs had such a record in a season during the Duncan era

At first I thought 6-2 was doable, but I think 5-3 will be best. I don't know when TP will be back--it sounded on the game today that it mght not be as long as it could have been. S we will see, but think losses to Denver, Flakers and Portland. If we are 6-2, the losses will be Den and FTL.

| We're one more turned ankle away from full panic mode. We're two turned ankles away from handing out a bulk package of Depends undergarments to the first 1000 fans at every Spurs home game. |

| I mean if you talking about injuries...then that can happen to any team...if LeBron, Kobe or Dwight twist an ankle it could send their fan bases into panic mode. Gotta be optimistic even in the tough times.
