8-0 would be sweeeeeet!!!! as long as we beat the lakers at staples!!. Remember 2007 guys we were 4-4 and the team looked old and beat up. back in 2007 Barkley said the spurs needed to trade. Pop kept the old team, they played defense and won the chip =)!!!! Back in 2007 the sexy teams were the mavericks and suns. (everybody knew what happened to the mavericks lol)

Thats a really good point, that year was magical once it hit the playoffs. The teams this year are a lot more challenging and talented. Even with the Spurs struggles they have more talent now than then..just have to get the chemistry right.

just have to get the chemistry right, that's what the team is lacking and that's what the Rodeo Trip can bring. 7-1 would be awsome

Spurs get a beatdown in Portland. Yes I said it. I see no way that they win this one.

I didnt get to see the entire game, but I did watch the last 6 minute collapse. I'll watch it on my DVR later today before the new game. I hope we can get a W tonight

Well it seems like we left for the rodeo and forgot to take our defense. I coudn't believe that we would be ahead by double figs and end up making it a win by 2. Our perimeter defense was supporting the enemy. But the Kings 3 pt shooting at the end must have thrilled their fans.

1-0 so far.

I get the feeling Kobe may not play...because I doubt he returns on a gimpy ankle and let the Spurs gain the mental confidence of beating a full Laker squad. Spurs need to play for 48 minutes and they will have a chance to win..whether Kobe plays or not.

the spurs will most certainly get up for these next 2 games against LAKERS AND DENVER. Beating those 2 teams would do wonders for our up and down team

Spurs need to keep featuring George Hill as the main scorer. he has the ability to carry a team. i like him playing that 2 guard.

Main scorer . . . I don't know about that.

Hill is a good scorer, but not enough of a shooter or driver to be a featured #1 option, I think. I like where he's at right now with both roles and the green light to shoot.

My 3-5 prediction unfortunately is looking better than I hoped right now.
