Pop uses the rodeo trip, to improve cohesion of the group and can work with the players full time without distractions. I'm not sure if the Spurs will have a good record, but they will probably emerge as a much better team after the rodeo trip.

I have a mathematics and statistics background so I like to look at trends to determine the probably outcome. We know this -- the Spurs have had trouble beating +.500 teams all season. Here's my predictions: (4-4) @SACRAMENTO (Kings are 13-10 at Home -- LOSS) @PORTLAND LOSS @LA CLIPPERS WIN @LA LAKERS LOSS @NUGGETS LOSS @PACERS WIN @76ERS WIN @PISTONS WIN |

Even if we only lose 2 or 3 games to Portland, LAL, or Denver I still won't be that satisfied if any of the other wins are by less than 5 points. The only way the Spurs can convince me or any of us that they are on to something is by winning with some authority against the beatable teams and hanging with the Lakers and Nuggets and winning at least one of those. I'm not very optimistic at all, I think we'll win 2 against the Clippers, and 76ers. |

Exactly my point KVas. WE got to turn this ship around and I feel that its about to happen. The guys obviously know that this team has a hell of alot more talent and for the most part, has failed to live up to the "elite" status we Spurs fans are used to. Knowing and putting it to action are two separate things, but you'd have to think above average talent veteran core will pull it together. We have the lineup and if all play accordingly, we can compete with the best and beat them. 7-1 is not a dream. The skies the limit for this team and we most certainly have underperfomed. Lets turn it around

I'm crossing my fingers until the end of the road trip. My fingers are beginning to cramp. Maybe Michael Finley's long layoff reaps some benefits in the stretch. After all, isn't this Pop's strategy? Until then, I find myself pondering who made the best off-season move? The Spurs acquiring Blair or the Bucks unloading Jefferson? |

| Have you seen the 4th quarter defense and turnovers? It's not luck that would get us 3-5. Anyhow, I think 5-3. Finally lose to a sub .500, but beat one of 'em on the road. |

| to think we'll drop 2 of the 5 games against sub .500 teams is just flat out CRAZY
