Not sure I would agree with that. I would've expected Jefferson, Duncan and Tony to have the most starts, which they do and Bonner slowly being phased out from starter to bench player as McDyess got more acclimated to the system. The wildcard was the starting 2 spot and who would emerge there. I would have guessed Mason since he was in the system last year and had some success. Everyone feels the 2nd year in the system is the one where you know what you're doing, stop thnking so much and just play on instincts. Mason has disappointed in my opinion so far but he is showing signs of coming out of it. The biggest surprise to everyone, including POP, is Bogans. While known for his defense, I don't think POP thought he would be a replacement for Bowen from the aspect of being able to start. How long it lasts, who knows, but so far the returns have not been that bad. |

This is close to what I expected in that Pop will be playing around with his lineups and rotations, and he has, big time. Like polk said, RJ, Tony, and Tim are clear cut starters, it's the other two positions that were up for grabs. I think I'm warming up to the idea of Bogans starting at the 2, I wanted Mason there, still kind of do, but as long as it's either one of those two over Finley then I'll live. The center spot is still a little more open. I think I like the idea of Ratliff starting and playing role player minutes. I think Dyess should carry 25 mpg and Blair and Bonner getting 15 to 20 a game. |

I'd prefer to play Theo 10-15 minutes every third game. Make him inactive for one of the two in between, and activate one of the young guys. He stays in shape, he doesn't get used up, and we MIGHT get to see Ian on occasion. |

Yeah, I get your point over playing a starter 8 minutes a night, a bit rediculous. |
