Another good trade idea

Spurs trade Finley and Mahimi to the Hawks for Mo Evans, Randolph Morris and a 2010 second round pick. Evans would be a good bench pickup and is way younger then Finley. Finley is just an old small forward at this point. He can't play two guards anymore. Evans is a better swing player. Morris and Mahimi cancel each other out. Maybe a change of teams..gets these guys going. The pick is because Evans has an extra year on his deal. Hawks are doing good but Evans is being used less this year and it helps their cap to resign Joe Johnson. Finley really should retire after the year. Okay waiting for you all to blast me!

I like Evans and have always wondered why we never made a run at him. From Texas and he trains over here in the summer. Good athletic defender like Bogans. I would love this trade if it happened.

Finley's been decent off the bench, why trade him? and not to be mean or anything, but 99% of your trade ideas haven't been "good" to include the word "another".

you also have to think about the 2nd party included in this. would the Hawks take it? they're both unrestricted FA's and could lose them for nothing. add that they're the best team in the NBA right now, why do it? idiotic trade ideas

Why would ATL do this? They're playing pretty well right now... certainly don't need our scraps.

Well you pretty much blast anything I write anyway. You'd complain if the spurs traded for Dwight Howard and I suggested it on this forum. I always include the second party! They would do it to free up money for Joe Johnson like I said. I sure get lots idiotic responses. About 99% of the time.... to include yours.

Evans sucked on the lakers. Seriously, Finley is better, even an aging Finley.

Evans has athleticism and a good 3 point shot. He is not as versatile as Mason, but he would have given us last year what Bogans is giving us this year, plus some.

Before any trades, the Spurs should remain healthy, fully integrate new players to the system and Pop has to figure out the optimal rotation, to see what we have this year.

That being said, Hill is better in some important aspects than Parker (he has 3 point range and plays better defense) and even he can't develop into an equally dangerous offensive player his overall impact can be similar.

In such circumstances, other franchises had their older all-star being traded for a player at another position. The Spurs could require an all-star big in his prime.

oh yeah cause that trade would make so much sense for the Magic right? lol the fact you admitted it on this forum makes my point on idiotic trade ideas.

Watch it Will, Jose is in attack mode. I've got your back. Diversionary post coming up.

Here's an even better trade. Tony Parker for Rajon Rondo.

Then we would have a PG who can defend.

I did not admit anything to you or anyone else. You compare my trade ideas like getting apple juice out of an orange. If you notice I always post why both teams would do the trade and the logic to do it. People forget sometimes trades are made for salary cap reasons and not out of pure basketball improvement.(See Shaq to Cleveland deal) So instead of blasting posts and implying someone is an idiot, maybe you should read the whole post instead of typing out responses with no substance behind it.

Blast Blast Blast Blast!!!!

No opinion really, too low keys to matter. No players involved make a difference to their new teams.
