Can the Spurs use Iverson?

Sooooo would you mind Iverson being a Spur? Its obvious that Manu Is now damaged goods. We need another scorer to fill that void when hes in and out of the line up. Iverson can start like he wants and he can run the point allowing more time for hill at the 2. I know, ... just a thought.

2. Iverson doesn't really get the team ball going. He needs to be the focus of the offense. Something he won't be in SA.
He's a volume shooter. He would not do what is necessary to fit in with the Spurs.

Didn't someone ask, "when would the 'sign AI' threads start showing up?"? Well here they are!! I would have been open to signing him for the vet min a year ago, before he went to Detroit. But after seeing his behavior in Detroit and Memphis he's proven to everyone he couldn't care less about sharing the rock or winning ball games. He just wants 40 minutes and 25 points a night in the starting lineup.

Well with Manu G-injury always hurt woudlnt we need 25 points and with the unselfish guys that are on the team, would they even mind? I do think he mite slow Hills progress though.

I'm not saying we couldn't use someone who is going to average 25 points a night for us, but AI won't be able to guard anyone, won't facilitate ball movement, and at his age would be way too inefficient at scoring that much each night. He has always been an inefficient scorer, and as deep as our team is he wouldn't get the minutes he needs to fluff his stat box. And if he's not getting exactly what he wants he is pouting, crying, quitting, and letting people down.
