I hope he backs up either Mahinmi/Blair or McDyess meaning he is third string.

Bonner should back up the 11th player on the active roster.

I hope Matt Bonner comes out next season and shoots 45% for 3, instead of 44%. And if he's still on the team come playoff time he won't shoot 23% for 3 this time.

I don't care if he starts or not to be honest. Y'all ready to throw him under the bus like y'all expected him to be something he's not. He had the best year of his career last year, shot a career best for 3 (which is why we got him); did what he does on the boards... averaged 2.3 fouls a game (which kinda surprises me considering how we always say he can't play any defense).

The guy just couldn't make a shot in the playoffs. I'd actually like to keep him around. Maybe not start him, but depending on the matchup; he does cause problems when he's making shots.

He will evolve into a much more situational player.

I'm not going to defend Bonner, but in LIMITED MINUTES off the bench, both he and Finley can spot up and contribute. They just don't need to be starting or playing many minutes like last season. If they are cold, then jerk them out, because we have depth this season. When hot they can add to the rout.

The only place I would like to see Bonner back up is back up in Toronto.

In limited minutes Bonner will suck even more, Pop didn´t give him the starting spot because he deserved it, he did it because bonner needed confidence.

In limited minutes he will realize he is a scrub and play as it.
