Summer Doldrum Question

I am not that knowledgable on who the upcoming college draft picks may be for the NBA in 2010. But I've heard alot of hype about the talent level being far superior than this year's draft choices.

1.) Who are the projected players to be coming out in next year's draft and why are they so coveted over this year's draft?

2.) Could the Spurs land one of those prospects and which one would be the best?

quite a few lottery talented kids decided to stay in school rather than declare for the draft this year. If everyone declares next summer, it'll be an amazing draft... you would have "lottery talent" drafted right up until the pick before ours (mid-twenties). Definitely a year to try and buy a 2nd first rounder from a team looking to keep their cap space.

Check out www.nbadraft.net, they do mock drafts. Mocks rarely get the order right (minus the first 1 to 5 or so), but it should give you an idea of who we'd be looking at. We won't get a stud with our scheduled pick, we'd need to buy someone else's who is higher up (as mentioned above).
