Spurs TV ratings

Among NBA teams the Spurs are number 1 in their local tv ratings

Top 10 Local Ratings 2008-09 Season

Team Avg. Local HH Rating
San Antonio 6.6
Cleveland 6.2
Portland 5.0
Utah 4.8
L.A. Lakers 4.2
Detroit 4.1
Phoenix 4.0
Boston 3.4
Houston 3.2
Chicago 2.9

Now if only we could convince the super sophisticated folks who run Austin TV stations that they too could benefit from showing the Spurs, life would be good.....And I wouldn't have to pay for league pass......

You should email this statistic to some of the broadcast stations in Austin.

Im actually not very worked up about missing games in Austin this year. There are so many games during the season that having to miss a few isnt a big deal. If its a really big game, Ill just go hit a sports bar.

Basically, they have beaten me into submission.

Agreed they need to show more games in Austin. Maybe they can just video edit the jersey's to be burnt orange and viewership will be great. Anywho, as an Austin resident, atdhe.net has been a lifesaver.
