I'm going to the Rockets Mavs game tonight..

And of course I'll be rooting for both teams to lose in my Spurs gear. Mmm, getting drunk and booing every made basket. Doesn't get much better than that.

Sorry to make such a pointless thread, but maybe, just maybe if enough of you watching at home can cheer along with me, I'll get my wish of both teams losing.

ugh..

I am not quite sure who i want to win--for the same reason. I guess we'll see what happens. I just can't stomach rooting for the mavs...

It was simple for me. I would have had a much larger amount of enjoyment watching the mavs lose. But pragmatically the Rockets losing was more favorable wrt the standings. So win win situation for me.

Plus I caught two out of the three things they threw tonight: a mini plastic b-ball and a water bottle so I was on quite a role.

Finally, I was sitting in the first row over the losers, I mean visitors entrance/exit. Here's what I yelled as the Mavs vacated the court at the end of the game:

As random Mavs were leaving: "Regular season burnouts." "You're burning out too quickly." "You're not going to do jack in the playoffs."

When Cuban walked by: "Stick to HD. Basketballsnot your game!"

I didn't get much of a response from the Mavs. Jason Terry was busy punching an usher in the balls, and Dirk and Howard were busy making out. But as Craig Sager walked buy I shouted out: "Craig! Nice digs!", while giving the ole' finger pointing salute. He then looked back and returned the ole' finger pointing salute.

He's quite a man, Craig Sager. Quite a man...
