Why can't we close out games this year?

Unlike last year, we have to blow out our opponents or chances are we will lose. We cannot win any close games this year. Our point differential is almost exactly identical to the Mavs and they are 9 games above us. Its ridiculous.

I think it's the predictability factor, and the fact that Pop relies too much on Finley late in games. Barry starts, but Finley often finishes. And obviously Horry isn't what he has been for us.

Also, Bowen's poor shoooting is killing us in the 4th quarter. Teams clamp down on Tim and TP in th 4th, so Bowen ends up with his customary open shots, and this year he's not knocking them down.

If we just hit two more threes each 4th quarter, it would make a huge difference. But a lot of nights, we're not getting those 4th quarter threes.

And lastly, we can't lock people down on D this year. Period. Two gurds routinely go off for 30 on bowen, and we only have tim in th epaint. Tim can't afford to try to block every shot. We're just missing too many pieces this year.

Didn't you get the memo? We're making the league believe that we're old, slow, and soft and then we're going to put the smackdown on them in the playoffs.
