RUMOR: Spurs/Mavs opening night

I know somebody who works at the Dallas Morning News and they told me thats its gonna be Spurs/Mavs opening night and that the schedule comes out tomorrow.

I'll treat it as a rumor right now and not leaked info. Its good to speculate I guess.

Sounds about right...the NBA always tries to keep the hype going, considering the rivalry we have & the way the season ended up, I would say this is very probable.

We play dallas at dallas for the season opener. Our first BACK-TO-BACK game is the next day for our home opener against Cleveland. We play Miami at home the day before thanksgiving and dallas at home the day after thanksgiving.

Maybe if we are lucky we can play Dallas 3 times in 2 weeks so the games can be completly irrelevant like when we played the Lakers 3 times in 2 weeks the year they had Malone.

I guess we will find out soon enough whether Pop goes small with dallas since we play them twice in Nov. We will then have something to b!tch about for months.

Does that mean our first loss of the season is to Cleveland on Nov 3?

Dammit! They'd better fix that Back-to-Back-slump crap this time!

A Spurs vs Mavs christmas special would've been so much better. Instead we get stuck with both teams, raw, vs each other early in the season. Thats stupid.
