i have no idea when the second round w/ the lakers (i'm assuming they will beat the rockets one more time) start. it could be this weekend or early next week. but this sweep is perfect for me. now, balancing my schedule for this week is easier. there will no worries about trying to watch the spurs on tv live or taping them. i have finals this week. they begin on weds and end on monday. so i'm estastic i can have some time to study. |

Yes, the Spurs love to cover all bases. They swept for us. I'm happy, because thiis week is the biggest week for West Australian Sport as our two AFL (Australian Football League) teams face each other. I need to have the whole week to concentrate on this, so thank you Spurs.

Might be a good idea to use some of that free time to go to the optomotrist for an eye checkup. Every reporter on the planet will be covering this series and riding the Laker's coattails. Sifting thru the mounds of writing to find something worth reading will be a challenge. |

I caught the tail end of a report on WOIA that sounded like even if the Lakers win on Wed, the 2nd round may not start for almost 7 days. If so, that's Stern wanting to give Lakers time to rest. |

The potential dates for the playoffs are: Conference semis: May 3-20 Conference finals: May 19-June 3 NBA Finals: June 4-20 So the Spurs have at least a full week layoff. Quote:
