Van Gundy: I want to spend more time with my kids. The finals takes, what, 3 hours per game?

Van Gundy has been pure class throughout this year and I admire him for that. I still believe that he was "encouraged" to leave the team but that is irrelevant at this point.

Why show up? He'd have to answer questions about why he was forced out. He said he was concerned that "people would approach him".

He was treated badly and there is no doubt in my mind that he was forced out! What a shame as he took them into the playoffs and probably would've succeeded in this year's playoffs! Who knows if they would even be down 2-0 if he was the coach? We will never know! He's been very classy considering the way they treated him!
