Tim's Time

Tim's Time

Tim Duncan's San Antonio Spurs had just finished a grueling six-game First Round series against a tough Sacramento Kings team. After dispatching the Kings on May 5, the Spurs had to turn around and play Game 1 of the Conference Semifinals less than 36 hours later against Southwest Division rival Dallas.

Conventional wisdom said the Spurs would be lucky to shake the fatigue and match up with the Mavs, who were rested after sweeping Memphis in the First Round. Enter Tim Duncan. The three-time Finals MVP showed up strong with 31 points and 13 rebounds in an 87-85 Spurs win. Duncan didn't have much to say after the game. After all, his play on the court spoke volumes. Now, you get to speak. Rate Duncan's performance in Game 1.
