i keep thinking that with horry starting these past few games that it leaves little in the tank towards the end of games when you expect him to make some crucial plays.

Horry needs to come off the bench to be effective.Pop really needs to shore up our interior presence with Rasho or Nazr.

Let Tim handle Dirk and put Bowen on Howard.

There inlies the problem. Dirk doesn't play the post. Heck he's smart enough not to play it against Bowen(Wells showed why it works well).

If Duncan plays Dirk, then there's no one under the boards(unless another big is in, but even then he's the best post defender and rebounder).

Like I said many times before, Pop will keep going small whenever opponents go small. So your suggestion won't happen. It's more likely to see Finley starting at PF lol.

Well it's not too difficult to do when Bowen is guarding Dirk. I mean he's like a 2/3 out there. So that's why going small can be a common thing. Or Duncan guarding Dirk and Bowen guarding Howard.

They need to just crash the boards when they are small, better. And of course not turn the ball over so many damn times.
