As a public service to NBA fans everywhere, I'd like to present this example of the tough job we officials face every day. The following photo will demonstrate just how tough our job is.

In this photo, Erick Dampier is defending the attacking, out-of-control Tony Parker; Rasho Nesterovic is attempting to set a screen but only his shorts got into the play. So with that said, here is your chance to be an NBA official.

A) Offensive foul- Tony is biting Dampier to get free for the layup.

B.) Foul on Rasho.....there is no reason for rasho to have such loose shorts to where a player can get their fingers caught. That should be an automatic flagrant 2

looks like erika is trying to kill parker, and beat down rasho to kill him on the net possesion. yah, thats totally an offensive foul on parker, how DARE he try to break free!

You make the call #2:
You make the mistake of whistling too early expecting a foul. You realize there was no foul, but have caused a stoppage of game. What do you do?
a) call the game.
b) call a tech on someone.
c) eject a player.
d) call a jumpball.
e) give the team with possession of the ball, back possession of the ball.

If you answered 'e', your fired!

well if i was steve javie tonight, i would have considered my options, if duncan had gotten the rebound on that play and passed to ginobili, i would call a jump ball between duncan and a player from the mavs who is the same height as ginobili.
Case B: If some one was parkered outiside the circle and made contact with Tim D, i would call a tech on NVE, and then shortly after, I would double him and send him to the locker room for a timeout.
Case C: If Dirk elbowed someone, I would simply call the game and give it to the mavs, cause you know what I have waiting for me when i meet mr. cuban after the game...........

Danny Crawford is not the ref I'm concerned about. That should have been seen by the ref standing on the baseline. It was right in front of him.

Um, Danny Crawford wasn't a ref tonight. That must have been from the regular season.
