Spurs bench vs. Mavs bench

I can't wait for the box scores after every playoff game, just to read how the Spurs bench scores 53 points compared to the Mavs bench scoring 13. The deepest bench in the league is here in San Antonio. I would take Horry, Finley, Barry, and Udrih over the scrubs and youngsters that Dallas relies on. Mouse is salivating at the thought of Keith Van Horn coming back to save the Mav's season. What a maroob !! Spurs in 6

the mavs have a pretty good bench. diop can get up and block some shots, you have devin harris that is about as quick as parker, you have van horn that can make 3's, you have daniels (we all know the undrafted daniels. can handle the ball and post up shorter defenders)

mavs are about as deep as the spurs. but spurs are the better all-around team. that's why they'll win

I don't know. If the Spurs continue to give Stackhouse open looks, it will be the other way around.

you don't win games by talking trash about your opponent.
the mavs are a good team and they have a very good bench, one of the best benches in the league and Avery knows how to install a rotation.
with Stack, Harris and Daniels the mavs have 3 double digits scorer comming of their bench and also van Horn can create mismatches and score 20+ on a given night.
Spurs will have to work hard for their wins. no doubt that we will win, but it won't be a cakewalk.

yea, its hard for Beno to try to prove himself when he's not on the floor. I say put him out there, and if it is obvious that he's struggling to get anything going, than take him out right away.

If not for Punkhouse, the game isnt even close! We need the bench bigtime to close out this series.

I was expecting barry and fins to go off this game, but they didn't really give much. I expect that Pop will find a way to get our bench going in game 2.

Our bench only took 10 shots today and they were 5 of 10.

Having Horry start, instead of coming off the bench, is going to hurt our bench scoring numbers. Neither Rasho nor Nazr are much of an offensive threat so Barry, Finley, Beno, and Van Exel are going to have to step up and make sure the offensive game doesn't go to hell while our starters are getting a breather.
