Its ok, one loss, keep the faith thread!!!!!

Sure, what an lousy way to lose a game and frankly shocking but sh*t happens.

You deal with it, its one loss and Spurs are still leading the series 2-1.

They have been in these situations before, remember how they lost game 5 to the Suns in the first round back in 2003, where Jake Voskuhl looked like Wilt Chamberlain for a two minute stretch.

I dont really see the Kings winning three more times, let alone even two more times in this series.

Keep the faith................

For those that love the NBA and college, this is not one-and-done. They have another chance to win in Sacto.

GO SPURS GO!!!!!

I was shocked at how it ended, but calm, unlike years past.

I'm so not concerned with this loss either. I'm just mad and Pop going to Manu against their best defender when Manu was horrible tonight.

Of course no one is conceding. But cant argue that this loss hurts. I'd rather we lose by more than losing by a turnover on the last posession.

Yeah I'm pissed. I agree with James. Horrible call by pop at the end. We could've gotten a better shot with duncan or parker or hell even finley.

Oh well. Sh*t happens.

In all honesty, I'm happy we nutted up and came back from that 14 pt deficit. Last year's team would've thrown in the towel already.

Props to barry, TIMMY!!!!, finley, and beno for keeping it close.

Honestly, I would give the ball to whoever Bibby was guarding.

But this loss tells us we're not that good yet. I don't think we are ready to beat the Pistons. We'll have to improve as the playoffs go along, and Sacramento is only going to help us get better and tougher.

Good to see the old TD back. Not so good to see the 2004 Manu back.

But on to the next game!

it should have gone to Tony because he was in a grove and Bibby wasn't going to stop him (not to mention he was making his freethrows). oh well...

The more I think about...a wake-up call is not a bad thing. We couldn't sleepwalk through more games like this.

I'm not worried, but this is not a cupcake team. Time to thrash them.

SPURS can still win but if they don't step up their defense and execution, they may not even see the WCF.

and game 1 had everyone saying SA was the best. You cant take individual games to guage how SA would be 2-3 series from now. Some things to work on for sure. But I wouldnt say the Spurs are not very good. If not for Manu making a bad play..SA wins. Im not concerned about Manu though. He was fantastic in game 2 and will bounce back

I'm still angry that San Antonio lost game 3 tonight. Manu should have pass the ball to T.P. early, instead of driving to the basket with two kings' defenders and pass the ball at the last minute! I'll keep the faith for our spurs. But if the kings tied the series, it'll become a problem for San Antonio.

I am actually BANKING on that to be true. If the Spurs are only as good as they are now in the Finals, they're gonna get beat. But there's plenty of time to get better, and I think this team is a long way from maxing out its talent.

No one can say that.

I'm not concerned either. I just want the Spurs to clean up their transition defense and their defensive rebounding, which were again exposed by the Kings. Do those two things and they automatically become much much harder to beat.

Kind of reminded me of the Marbury buzzer beater in '03.

Same result though...us in 5 or 6.

Is the word faith applicable to a belief in an outcome that is certain? I mean, 'keeping the faith' in the Spurs in this series is like 'keeping the faith' in the law of gravity.

(And none of you physics majors start disputing me about Newtonian Physics vs Relativity or Quantum Theory - you know what I mean!)

Pop has always given the ball to Manu for the last play in case there is a foul called. Pop chose to have faith in Manu. Just like he had faith in Tony when he put him back in the game toward the end of the 4th quarter. Pop is not to blame for trusting his players. IMO.

It is just one loss, but many lessons to be learned or drilled in. Game four is next.

It's easy to get over a loss like this when it's against a team like Sacramento. Had it been vs. Det. where there's actually a possibility of 4 losses, that's a different story. This one was just a showcase for Tim and a wake up call for the team.

kings just have to win game 4 and its a series. winning game 4 will be difficult but not beyond the realms of possibility. in a way they could easily be up 2-1, if nont for barry's shot

Cancel the River Parade, there will be no ring for SA

Our team is horrible, I would rather cheer on the knicks than the spurs right now, sorry timmy you couldnt grab a fourth titile, sorry rob, I hope another better team can get you your seventh ring. So long spurs, nice knowing you sucked all along.

It's going to be fine, people.
