Over the past two decades, the Kings have lost all three series where they lost the first two games. They have only won 1 series and lost 3 when they lost only the first game and won the second. So the Kings haven't been a good come from behind team in the playoffs over the past 20 years, and over that time have never came back when down 2 games. ![]() Come on Spurs; put them out of thier misery quickly.

nice post, but the kings have dropped alot of game ones and have come from behind to tie the series if not win the series. they dropped the 1st game to the lakers in the 2002 WCF and after that the kings won the next two. They dropped the first two to the jazz and then came back to win the next two. now they lost both series, but it couldve went either way. now it also depends on what you call "comming from behind". comming from behind doesnt actually mean winning the series, it could be fighting back and getting back into the series. which the kings have done many times. its just finishing the series that they struggle with. that'll change one day.

the ball is in our court now. 2 home games for the kings comming up next. if we win these next two then we did our job by protecting our homecourt. and just like that the series is 2-2. (((((((looking at that mike bibby last minute screw up)))))) in my opinion, the kings have already proven they can beat the spurs in san antonio.

I'm talking about coming back to actually win the series. Seriously who remembers if the series went 5-6-7 games? All that matters is who comes out on top! Quote:
I say he was screwing up the whole game. but that's what happens when you Bowened!

The Kings haven't proven that they can beat the Spurs in the playoffs, they have to actually do it. The last game showed that they have the talent to play w/ them, but it also showed that they were not mentally tough. They played well when the pressure was off- they had nothing to lose. However, when they actually got close and had something to lose, they buckled under the pressure. That has been the history of the players on this team. Talented? Yes, but mentally tough? No. That said, Sac must win one of the next two at least. They are too talented to get swept. Some of their players are due for a good game and some of our shooters are due for a bad game. Plus, if there is one thing us Spurs fans do know, is that the Spurs are prone to lapses when they get leads. I still don't see us losing 4/5. |
