I can see a record number of missed layups, turnovers on nearly every possession and half court shots that look like a blind man shot them. Not that they would make it look deliberate but this game will be fun to watch just to see who can pull off the tank job.

If you are a pro athlete surely you want the big games, no? Grizz sure seem to at least. If you lack confidence that you have a shot at going all the way why suit up?

If Miami were to meet Spurs in the finals, but Wade and/or Shaq got injured late in the ECF clincher would victory over a weakened opponent feel as good? I know personally that (when the dust finally settled) last year's ring was sweeter because of the tough battle vs. Detroit. Beating a strong team is more satisfying than rolling over a weakling.

I almost feel really bad for Memphis. It sucks that they're going to go out and be true professionals and will probably pound the Clippers tonight who are obviously trying to tank it down to 6th and then they'll get run by Dallas and we'll see the Clippers in the Conference Semifinals.

Hmm no. The only team tanking is the Clippers. Memphis has been trying to win games thats why they have the 5th spot right now.

To be a true contender, you have to be willing to play ANY and ALL teams. Clippers have not shown that they are a true contender.

Thats easy to say but facts are facts and the Clipps having homecourt in the first round and playing Denver is alot better than playing Dallas on the road. its the pathetic seeding thats caused this mess. The clipps prob get to at least the second round by losing this game

blame the NBA..dont blame either of these teams for not going all out to win

Anyone remember when they changed the playoff games to 7 games for first round to help out the Lakers... makes you wonder if Lakers were in the Clippers spot this year, if the NBA would have made a mid season change seeing this 3rd-6th seed scenario couldve happened.

Well Clipper announcers are complaining constantly about thie seeding format. One of them said "This was supposed to be one of the best games of the regular season but we're watching an exhibition game"

This game is closer than I thought it would be at halftime. Someone had a good halftime discussion.

Man, that game was a nail biter. It could have gone either way. . Memphis was able to pull it off but I wasn't sure for a while there.
