I would trade Tim Duncan for LeBron James in a heartbeat. Anyone outside of this forum and this fanbase would call US crazy for dismissing it so easily. Remember, this is all hypothetical and this trade would never present itself. But I think it's time that we, as Spurs fans, come to terms with the fact that we are drawing ever so close to the end of this Tim Duncan era. And when you consider the future of the NBA, and the next generation of truly great players, LeBron is at the front of that line. He will win multiple rings before he's done. This trade will never happen. It will never be discussed, it will never be considered. But not because the Spurs would never do that, but because the Cavaliers would never do it. In the pretend world of hypotheticals, I would do this trade in a heartbeat. Now, allow me to step away from the computer, since my wife Angelina is due any minute now. Aslan is guarding the front of the hospital where she is delivering. Tomorrow, after the baby is born, Angelina said she'd watch as Beyonce gives me the lapdance she promised at my birthday party last month. Hypotheticals are great aren't they? |

Newsflash: The Kings would trade all 12 players and Pete Carrill for LeBron James. ![]() Quote:
Pasacrita is somewhat knowledgable, but more there for comic relief than any real substance. He makes STSA almost bearable. Like Bill Walton, he's not there for you to take extremely seriously. Vexler and the idiot Thompson brothers however, try to portray themselves as sports gurus of some kind - but anyone with a decent knowledge of sports and a computer can tell you they are simply blatantly biased and extremely uninformed. Especially Jeff Vexler. An idiot of the highest magnitude. I don't get to listen to the Thompson brothers any longer (Thank God) - but they are beyond horrid. Vexler and the Thompsons almost make one wish for Don Harris and Jay Howard. |
