whats the spurs magic number of wins that we need to clinch the 1 seed?

It's officially 2, but because of tiebreak scenarios, if we lose to Utah and Minny, but beat Houston, we win the West, even if Mavs win out their last 2 games. Or if we beat Minny and Utah and Mavs win out, then the Houston game is meaningless.

thats not a bad idea, but also considering that houston doesnt have yao or mcgrady....i think if we even throw in a linup of Pop, Carlisimo, Mike Bud, the Trainer and the Coyote, we can win that game

Hell yeah I would tank that game against Utah. If we can somehow help Utah get that 8th seed, that would be sweet. That team is horrible. While I selfishly want the Spurs to play Sac so I can go watch them in the first round whoop the Kings at Arco, I would prefer the easier team for the spurs. A little extra rest would be good for them.
