Clippers held the mavs to 25 points in the second half.... but only scored 33 themselves. Brand had a bad game that almost NEVER happens.

And Memphis just became the 5th seed. They have an easier schedule as well. So they could end up facing the Mavs first round.

If that is the case, it will be a knock down drag out since Memphis is the best team in the league at keeping opponents to their lowest scoring average. They also are on their third year of playoff experience.

Mavs still have quite a few newbies with very little experience. Maybe the Mavs will come out of it beat up and tired.

You never know, the Clipps may end up back in the 4 spot. If Cassell or Maggette had played, the outcome may have been different.

Oh yea, props to Dirk for the game winner.

The Clips had every chance in the world to win that game. And I stayed up way too late to be disappointed. I'll tell you what though. They had a young SF by the name of Singleton who was playing hella D and made some big shots. Maybe the athletic young SF we need behind Bowen that we could get for a cheap price in the future.
