MIAMI, Florida (15 de Diciembre, 2005) - Durante la pretemporada de la NBA 2005-06 (Octubre y Noviembre), Manu Ginóbili sostuvo el primer puesto en ventas de jerseys en Argentina y Brasil. Shaquille O’Neal lideró el mercado mexicano con la venta de sus jerseys, mientras que Kobe Bryant sostuvo el primer puesto en los demás países de América Latina (Ecuador, Chile, Panamá, Caribe, Centroamérica, Colombia & Venezuela).

I look at Bryant as a guy who cares about nothing but personal glory. He knows this team isn't going anywhere - people, he made this team. He knew exactly what he was getting into.

I think Bryant's goal is to one day have his ideal game - one in which he takes every single shot. Finally proving that this ridiculous notion of "making your teammates better" is a bunch of hooey.

He sees his Laker teammates as nothing more than chairs on the court that he must dribble around in order to jack up another shot.

Bryant got his way with that game. He shot a ton of times, scored a bunch of points, and now all these absolute idiots in Southern California will go to their sunburned graves swearing he's the best player who ever lived.

The funny thing is, had the Lakers decided to ship out Bryant instead of Shaquille, those same moronic Laker fans would go to their graves swearing Shaquille was the greatest ever.

Bryant is very fortunate to play for a team whose fans know nothing about the sport, and are actually excited to see one player dessimate an entire franchise.

All this hoopla over nothing makes me so proud that the Spurs quietly go about their business without fanfare or egos - and they just win.
