And its not Tim Duncan... Tony Parker leads the NBA in points in the aint this year!!! Thats just plain SICK ![]() Thats is one stat that I do not understand how a PG can do that, buts thats what TNT said. The stat was up for like 2 seconds, and I think it was something like 285 points in the paint, but thats just a guess as to what the number was.

It's way more than 285 AL. He averages 20ppg through 38 games. He scores way more 7ppg in the paint, probably closer to 12ppg. The Total is probably up past 500 points and close to 600.

I will say one thing...and this is no knock on TD or Gino. TD has been hurt with his foort/heel. Gino has been in and out with injuries as well. If it was not for TP, and how well he is playing , we would be in alot of trouble.

I think Tony is the only guard of the top 5 players in the paint. Does anyone know where we can find the stats?

They just showed a graphic on TNT. He's leading the league with 466 points, TD second with 460.

TP with 466, TD with 460, LeBron is next with 448, then Marion with 440 and Melo (5th) with 432. Tony is the only PG of the top 5 "points in the paint" players.

Tony has mastered the art of finishing in the paint with the lay-up. Imagine if he dunked the ball more often. The number of dunks he would have would rival players like Shaq and Amare.
