What Ronnie Nun Said They Would Call

on NBATV Ronnie Nun said that they were NOT going to allow a defensive player, once beat, to use his arm or anything to impede the progress of the penetrator. So far each time a Bulls player gets beat they do the EXACT thing that Ronnie showed on NBATV as what WOULD be called.

I just saw the last seconds of the Nets/Heat game and the Nets got robbed on a clear no-call. Carter was in the key, driving to the basket, and he and Mourning collided in the air. Lawrence Frank ran out on the court and screamed all kinds of F-words at the ref. It was kind of funny but I hated to see the Heat steal one like that. More fodder for the conspiracy theorists I guess.

I thought it was a good no-call. Zo went straight up and Carter initiated contact.

The block was actually by Wade on that last play, actually a good no call. The exchange between Walker and White Chocolate would be my biggest concern for the Heat. That team has a nasty mix...

Refs almost never call a foul on the last possession. Yesterday, it was Vince Carter who got fouled and the day before Diaw was slapped on the arm when trying to lay it up. I do think it's a serious concern that refs are so afraid to call something just because it's a big time possession. Rules are rules.

Wade got all arm on Carter's last second drive, it was plainly visible from the sidelline camera. There wasn't a foul with Zo though.
