Trophy on Unis?

Anyone notice the trophy patch on the Spurs unis? Is this something new this season? Not sure if it's a good idea if that's the case. Kind of cocky isn't it? To remind everyone you're the champs? Just my 2 cents...

I think its pretty sweet. Im sure its a one night thing though given that this is the ring ceremony night.

But will they always be introduced as the defending champions? Guess we will find out Friday.

Im not 100% sure but I think the Pistons got to wear the little trophey patch for their first game last season and they obviously didnt wear it the remainder of the season. I don't really want them to wear it all season but it is fun for tonight.

I think Spurs wore them for more than a few regular seasons games in 2003-2004 when they were the defending champions.

The Patriots have Super Bowl Champs patches on their uni's this season as well. Maybe the Spurs are doing it all year?

FRANCE has one, brasil 6...

and spurs could have 3 trophy!! or 3 stars...
