We lost another scout...

First Lance and now Joe. Should we be worried?

Associated Press

DALLAS (AP) - The Dallas Mavericks hired Rolando Blackman, the team's all-time leading scorer, and Joe Prunty as assistant coaches on Friday.

Blackman had spent five years with the Mavericks' player development staff before serving as the team's television analyst last year. He played 11 of his 13 seasons with the Mavericks, averaging 19.2 points. Prunty enters his first season with the Mavericks after spending nine seasons with the San Antonio Spurs, the last three as advance scout/assistant coach

It was old news made new by Dallas making the formal announcement.

It would seem only fair, with Dallas taking Prunty that the Spurs should sign Finley.

The difference, of course, would be that Mark Cuban will be paying both of them next year

What kind of scout was he? If I remember correctly, Lance and Danny were scouts at the high school and college levels while RC and Pop worked the interational waters? So what about Rolando?
