Just for kicks-- who I remember is left:

Many are restricted.

Matt Barnes 6'7"
Casey Jacobsen 6'6"
Jason Kapono 6'8"
Gerald Wallace 6'7"

anyone else?

RC and Pop are so so good in holding back information that we probably wont know how things went today until probably tomorrow in the Express. By this time this past tues and monday, there were already reports on how the visits went for Miami and Pheonix.

Why is the Pietrus deal shot?

Barnes has been in SA since monday...

San Antonio is Barnes' priority this week, though, as his campaign trail has taken him to Texas for a Spurs workout since Monday. Neff said the Spurs and Kings remain atop the list of interest. Neff said he hasn't heard from Petrie lately, which isn't necessarily a bad indication. Asked recently about Barnes, Petrie said simply, "We'll have to wait and see how things play out."

Amente said its just a rumor that has a more then realistic chance of being a thrown around type.

I don't remember him using this phrasing to describe this trade possibility-- but he can obviously speak for himself. Just because it may not happen does not mean it was just a "throw some names out there" discussion. He specifically said the Spurs had contacted 2 or 3 teams about trading Barry.

I dont remember that. amente is the one that reported hearing some rumblings about dealing with GS directly

will something happen....who knows

but I dont think it was something just "thrown" out there
