Magic Officially Waive Christie

Magic Press Release - The Orlando Magic have waived guard Doug Christie.

The team also announced that Christie will be designated as the team’s amnesty player, as allowed in the new collective bargaining agreement.

Defensive specialist? Who Christie? Yeah right, maybe when he was the only one who played defense in Sacramento and they thought he was their defensive specialist but he no specialist. Reserve that name for someone like Bruce Bowen.

Good point. I'd rather have Bowen over Christie, Bowen is a much more proven all around ballplayer, he also has 2 nba titles. However, wouldn't mind having Christie come off the bench, would make for good Bowen insurance.
