Derek Anderson worked out for Lakers monday

Derek Anderson worked out for the Lakers on Monday and will visit Minnesota and Detroit before making a decision early next week about where to sign.

"We like that situation," Anderson's agent, Tony Dutt, said about the Lakers, "but there are others we like as well. We're still exploring the market."

I always wonder what could have been if Derek decided to stay with us. Oh well, keep looking for that team that will be "loyal" to you.

If he takes the two year offer he will be a Laker. I dont really understand why theu would want him though? Unless he is willing to sign for the LLE I just wouldnt trust his previous injuries to get him through a whole season. The Lakers are thin up front. If he were to go down, they would have someone like Smush Parker playing starting PG

Hey DA, that was a GREAT move you made by heading to Portland.
Karma can be a beeyotch.
Actually he got signed and traded to the Blazers for Steve "creeky knee's" Smith. I do however agree that the dude is a douche bag.

Sounds like he's finished. His best years were with the Spurs, and it's his loss to give it up.

Wow that is amazing, I didn't realize he was still in the NBA.

Last I remember of him, Loyality for him ended with the "N" in Anderson.

Blake had it right- DA forced the trade.

Maybe DA knew he sucked and would never earn the contract he was getting and this was his way of showing Loyality.
