Walton on Pop

Talk about EXTREMISM to the highest degree - he just said this:

Gregg Popovich is the best coach in the NBA. I played for 6 NBA Hall of Fame coaches and this is the one I would want to play for. He's the one that got away.

Even if it's WALTON, dang.

I love Walton, even when he's going back and forth like a tennis ball.

Meh, Walton will shift whatever way the wind is blowing. If god forbid the Heat win next year he'll probably call Stan Van Gundy the most underrated coach in NBA history, not to mention a basketball genius that assembled the greatest team he's ever seen.

Anyone count the number of times Miami and Shaq was mentioned on the broadcast tonight? I turned the audio off after the half, and even still I heard at least a couple of mentions for each one.

pop is the second coach with multiple titles to never lose a finals series.
walton isn't far from the truth baby.
phil jackson was among them till he met detroit, well... Pop met them and still made history, that's the difference

Did anyone hear walton before the game talking about how manu and tony were just dribbling around mindlessly until the shot clock ran out and then they would force up a jumper? i thought that pop switching bowen on billups made a big difference in the game. theh guy is a basketball genius

bill walton is more reporter than analyst. he's spending more time telling like it has been, his predictions are pure reflections of the past.
