They were the toughest possible opponent for us. Their only flaws are a short bench and a lack of offensive creativity.

detroit as much as i hate them.... proved they are incredible players with alotta of heart. Chauncey is a great player .I have a feeling we might see this team again in the future when the title is up for grabs .

Tough as nails. I remember back in December, that game at the SBC, thinking this team looks tough. I'm glad I can go back to liking them. It's like Highlander... in the end, there can be only one. You have to chop off other immortal's heads if you wanna hang.

Great team. But I couldn't help but laugh at some of the Piston fans at the SBC who wore those ridiculous belts to the game.

What I liked is how the players didn't get into a smack talking fest even when baited by the media (Rip talked a little bit but that was frustration). The other night after game 6 someone asked B Wallace about the parade being planned, he shrugged it off and said that Detroit would have done the same thing, I think Rip said something similar, Chauncy said good things about us and even Rasheed, after someone asked about TD being nervous, said something like; he's NOT nervous, Tim Duncan doesn't get nervous. These guys are classy. I feel for Antonio McDyess. After all his injuries, he came back and had a good year and a monster series. Hats off to the guy.

At first I was sad that the hEat didnt make it to the Finals bcuz seeing TD dust Shaq is priceless, but after this series, how could any Spurs fan fan ask for a more worthy opponent. These last 3 games they had us on our heels from opening tip, kept evrybody on the edge of our seats... they showed unbelievable heart, and made me feel silly for doubting their ability.

Pistons were really tough--they never quit. It really means a lot to have beaten them for the Championship.
