It is obvious that Pop wanted Larry to reach his 100th playoff win.

Why else keep Tony on Billups?

Billups shot 6-16.
Rip shot 9-19.
So who was hotter? Who should Tony guard? Who should Bruce guard?

May this thread RIP.

Chauncey was the one who burned us on the perimeter though, abusing his mismatches.

If I know my math correctly, most of Chauncey's shots were 3s, therefore, Chauncey was the hotter one.

Since Pop was SO upset with the 3s, he should've put Bowen on Chauncey.

But none of that really matters, we still could've won had our O not completely dismantled in the last 2 min.

Think maybe Pop and Larry wanted to duke it out in a 7th and deciding game.
First 4 games blow-outs, making it a 3 game series. 1 road win each, then letting it all out in the final game.

Its obvious Pop wanted Larry to think the win was as geniune as possible. It's the least the apprentice could do.

Manu will shut down T'Shaun on Thursday.

Tony was going to get torched by either one of them tonight. They both brought their "A" games.

stats don't paint the whole picture, billups actually missed a couple one in the lane but hit most of his jumpers. he makes the pistons offense tick, stop him you stop the pistons.

Agreed. Billups is what makes the Piston's offense tick. He's not the only threat, but he's the #1 threat, IMO. Especially while breaking the D down and getting the defense scrambling.

He kept hitting 3's and it seemed they were all crucial shots. Anyway, I don't think Pop or anyone on the Spurs is willing to give up a game for anyone. The Pistons outplayed the spurs last night, now the Spurs have to come out on thursday and win. It will be a struggle, especially if the refs keep calling the game towards the more aggressive team, which in the last 4 games has been the Pistons.
