Patience of Pop - Genius ?

It was just imazing to watch Pop not get a technical called on him in this game.

Could it be he realized how close this game could be and a technical might cost them the game? If he got one, they would have lost.

I think Pop realized it was pointless to argue last night.

Its obvious that the refs had been told to be quick with the whistle last night - most likely due to the lack of suspensions levied against Denver after game 3. They wanted to make sure the game did not turn into a brawl. So, they called *everything* in an effort to reduce physical contact between players.

It failed, of course, and ruined the game. But I would bet money they were under orders.

Seems to me Pop realized that no amount of griping was going to change the crappy way the refs were calling the game last night. So why get yourself ejected?

Of course if Pop had acted like I was acting last night watching the game, he would have racked up about 20 technicals. Good thing I'm not the coach cuz I was going ballistic.
