yeah, it's different in the NBA and especially with the Spurs.
The only one that comes out into the Interview room is Pop. Then media goes into the locker room and you can speak to any player available IN THE LOCKERROOM.
Only time that changes is during the playoffs when the league takes a little more control. In that case, your tip would work by leaving the recorder on in the interview room while you go into the lockerroon once is it opened to the press to get to a player that the Spurs/League won't bring out.
