Pop and DeMar

How great will this relationship be?? You got a coach who will be around as long as there are players who get after it, and a recently traded player who now really wants to play for a great coach and learn the game of basketball.

Let's get it on people!!!!

All I ask is he develop a better 3pt shot and at least upgrade his defensive some to help overall team defense.

He doesn't need to develop his 3, and that probably isn't going to happen. He is going to slash like Tony Parker and open things up for our shooters outside (like nobody could last season).

I've noticed through the years that whenever Pop is telling a joke or cutting somebody up, he usually does it with a straight face.

You mean that apart from a straight face and an angry face (arguing a call) that Pop actually has something else to offer?

He also offers up his 'doghouse' and a seat at the end of the bench. All can be attained with bad play and having an attitude.

That's possible as well, but the issue is you can only have 5 players on the floor at once. Seeing as though Aldridge, DeRozen, and Gay are more so mid-range, there isn't a lot of space if he is slashing to dish unless Mills, Beli, or Manu are on the floor. In that case, PG won't get as many minutes unless it's Mills and maybe Murray w/an improved shot. So it would be nice if DeRozen could shoot better than 31% and allow Murray, White, and Walker assume the TP role. Not saying DeRozen can't still slash, but it's going to get crowded unless it's a fast break opportunity which this year I think the Spurs will have an increase in. I think Offense as a whole is going to have to change.
